Kaia Nielsen and Mark Lebbell like to call their music Canadicana, drawing inspiration from non-traditional cover tunes and originals. Their repertoire is full of trains and trucks, love lost and found, gasoline and other higher powers. They charm as a duo, but will often fill out the band or with some of the Sunshine Coast's finest players, including Ken Dalgleish and Graham Walker, or with Mari Nielsen, a fiddler they spawned several years ago. Whatever the lineup, their shows are always rich with harmony, humour, heartbreak, hope and hipshaking grooves, drawn from an evolving setlist of well-crafted roots tunes
